Manager Rights

Cooperative Managers on Coopunify are recognized professionals entrusted with the administration and operational oversight of cooperative societies on the platform. The rights outlined below define the scope of authority, engagement, and professional independence of managers, while maintaining transparency and accountability.

Right to Professional Engagement


A registered cooperative manager has the right to:

  • Manage multiple cooperative societies concurrently on the platform.
  • Offer professional management services to societies that engage them.
  • Maintain an independent professional profile visible to societies seeking managers.

Right to Independent Remuneration


Cooperative managers have full autonomy over their remuneration arrangements.

  • Fees, salaries, or commissions are negotiated directlybetween managers and societies.
  • Coopunify does not interfere in payment structures, negotiations, or employment terms.
  • Coopunify does not process or guarantee payments to managers.

Right to Operational Authority


Once engaged by a society, a cooperative manager has the right to:

  • Onboard and manage society members in accordance with approved byelaws.
  • Oversee accounting records, contributions, and operational workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with cooperative rules, policies, and reporting standards.

Right to Transparency and Professional Protection


Managers are entitled to transparent records of their activities and decisions carried out on the platform. All actions performed by managers are logged, ensuring:

  • Clear audit trails for accountability.
  • Protection against false allegations or disputes.
  • Evidence-based review of performance and compliance.

Deactivation and Replacement


Cooperative societies reserve the right to change or deactivate a manager at any time, in accordance with their internal governance decisions.

  • Deactivation removes the manager’s operational access to the society.
  • Societies may source and appoint a replacement manager from the Coopunify platform.
  • Certain operational and administrative functions may be temporarily restricted until a new manager is assigned.

Mandatory Manager Requirement


To preserve governance, compliance, and financial integrity, a cooperative society on Coopunify cannot operate fully without an active manager. The roles and permissions of society executives are intentionally limited on the platform until a qualified manager is assigned.

These rights ensure that cooperative managers operate within a clear, professional, and transparent framework while supporting societies with accountable and compliant management practices.
